Orange Screen — Fullscreen Warm Orange Light & Mood Glow

A warm orange fullscreen screen for cozy ambient light, a sunset glow or a solid orange background. Dim it as low as you like. Free, runs locally.

What it does

This page opens a warm orange (#ffa500) screen that fills the display. Orange is a comfortable choice for ambient light in the evening, a “sunset” glow for a room or a video backdrop, and a solid background for presentations or streams.

How it works

Orange contains less blue than white light, so it feels warmer than a bright white screen. Pair it with the Dimmer and a lower device brightness for a gentle night light. If you want a deeper tone, pick darkorange or orangered from the named colors, or drag left and right to move toward red or yellow. If you’re building a palette and want its Tailwind equivalents, the Tailwind color reference lists the orange family.

How to use it

  1. Press Go fullscreen.
  2. Drag left or right to fine-tune the hue and up or down for brightness.
  3. Lower the dimmer for evening use.
  4. Press Esc to exit.

FAQ

Is orange light good for relaxing in the evening?

Warm, dim light is a common choice for winding down. This isn’t a health product; use whatever feels comfortable.

Can I make a sunset effect?

Yes. Use the Two-color gradient mode in the Color Screen tool with orange and a deep red or purple, and set the angle.

How do I get the exact orange I want?

Type a hex such as #ff7a00, pick it with the color control, or search the named list.
