Duplicate Image Finder
Scans a batch of uploaded images and flags visually identical or near-identical duplicates — including resized or slightly recompressed copies of the same photo, not just byte-for-byte identical files — so you can clean up a folder without manually eyeballing every image.
How to use it
Upload a batch of images. The tool compares them using visual similarity rather than just file hashes, grouping likely duplicates together with a similarity score. Review each group, pick which copy to keep, and download the deduplicated set.
FAQ
Will it catch duplicates that were resized or re-saved at a different quality?
Yes — the comparison is based on visual content, not just exact file matching, so a resized or recompressed copy of the same photo is still flagged as a likely duplicate.
What counts as “near-identical” — will it flag similar but different photos too?
The similarity score is adjustable, so you can set a stricter threshold to only catch true duplicates, or loosen it to also surface near-duplicates like burst-mode shots taken seconds apart.
Does it automatically delete duplicates, or just flag them?
It flags and groups them for review — you choose which file in each group to keep before downloading, nothing is deleted without your confirmation.
How many images can I check at once?
There’s no strict cap, though very large batches will take longer to compare since every image is checked against every other one directly in the browser.
